Flower Care

Flowers

In order to ensure that your flowers stay fresh for longer, make sure that all flower and foliage stems are submerged in a vase with water. It is time to replace the water in your vase when it starts to become cloudy. If your floral arrangement includes floral foam, it is important to always keep it saturated with water. Once blossoms and foliage begin to fade and wilt, remove them from your arrangement. Keep your flowers away from direct sunlight as well as heating or cooling vents, since these can dry them out and cause them to wilt. Keeping flowers in a cool place will often be most effective. Keep in mind that some flowers last longer than others.

Succulents

Arrangements often contain different succulents with varying needs. One thing they all need is light. Bright, indirect light is best and will allow all of the succulents to maintain their color and shape. Infrequent watering is the best, and only after the soil is completely dry.water lightly and evenly with the watering pot.

Orchids

While there are many orchid species to Choose from, they all have similar physical characters.Orchids need bright light to produce blooms. However, direct sun can burn them.

Orchids need to dry out between watering to prevent rot. One way to tell whether it is time to water if the pot feels light. Plants do best in range in between 50 degrees and 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
